Le Due Terre da Salvatore in Bautzen

The service was neither friendly nor nice, rather trimmed for the evening and there was no more fruit. Maybe in a bad mood, because there will be corona changes from tomorrow, but no guest can do that, sorry.

Not really worth a star. We arrived from a friendly Italian lady and we were seated. She handed us the card but nothing more happened. There was a very important "waiter" who took all orders. He only ignored us and other guests. After 15 minutes we spoke to the lady that we would like to order. Again nothing happens so we left. Really sad for a restaurant in such a great place

Unfortunately, there is only one star from me, because you cannot post any star. Ordered mussels which were ice cold. Not even better after a complaint.

We have been there several times now and have always been very satisfied with the taste, price-performance ratio and time to eat.

We spent our anniversary there ... Service was a bit overwhelmed but was guaranteed to be due to the many people in the outside area .. Food was good .. Price-performance ratio fits .. Gladly again ..

Very nice Italian restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome from the waitress and were brought to our seat. Pasta and pizza are delicious. The pizza in particular is a huge portion. We didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. We will be back definitely.

Delicious. Wonderful space, especially when the weather is nice. However, the service is a long time coming, both when assigning the seats and for finally getting a card. You kind of feel like they don't need to. Here it is important to show more friendliness and service in order to come back with pleasure.

As soon as we arrived we were surprised by the extremely courteous wait staff who pointed out several dishes that were not on the menu (swordfish fillet, turbot fillet, mussels). The portions are more than sufficient, maybe even a bit too opulent. Fully satisfy the taste. Despite the rush of visitors, the service was always friendly and quick. The price-performance ratio is right. Only the music inside could be much quieter. Since we were sitting outside, that didn't bother us. We were served well and felt comfortable. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant.

Pizza was good and hung fast. Staff a bit surly but prudent and quick. Pleasant outdoor seating on the main market.

We tried this restaurant by a chance. Since we are Italians we don’t like to eat at Italian restaurant when we are on holiday. But this was the best choice we could make. Food was excellent and fresh, it’s hard to find fish so well-cooked and served even in Italy! The location is beautiful, we will come back for sure! Highly suggested.

The best Italian food ever tried in Germany. Nice restaurant, tastefully decorated; fresh and very high quality food. Highly recommended!

It was a poem. The service was very attentive, it was delicious and very good portions. There wasn't a long wait. We felt transported to Italy for a short time. We can only recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

The best food I’ve ever tried in Germany. I’m Italian and I went in many Italian restaurants but no one had good and fresh food like Le due Terre in Bautzen! The restaurant is in the middle of the main square and it is beautiful. It’s hard to eat so good also in Italy lately, I could not imagine to eat good Italian food of high quality and freshness in Germany! We will come back!

There are two stars for good food. Service and ambience zero stars. Something like the train station, loud music, so the conversations of the guests are of course louder, so the quality of stay is not good. Staff is probably a bit overwhelmed. Forgot where to bring the second pizza, ended up at the wrong table. The second drink request took a while, the partner wasn't even asked when the empty glass was cleared away. The ice card took three tries. It is definitely better.

Actually, it doesn't deserve a star. Unfriendly and staff with no overview. Staff yelling at each other in front of the guests. Food was not tasty and cold. We waited 30 long minutes for our bill. Distance and hygiene rules are not adhered to at all. Under these circumstances we did not tip and the waiter got cheeky. The restaurant is not recommended at all. Zero stars.

I recommend this place, extremely nice and quick service. Delicious Italian thin crust pizza.

Terrible experience. Staff couldn’t have been more rude

By reading some of the negative reviews I should not have visited le Due terre...but probably who posted those reviews would be more happy to visit McDonald’s or Burger King or maybe they visited another restaurant, not Le Due Terre. We spent a dinner for a birthday occasion. The personnel was outstanding, extremely high professionals, knowing exactly what was their job from the bar tender to the main supervisor, waiter, cook etc... I am italian and I am used to typical high level Italian southern cuisine. In 15 years of travels around the world, this is the first time I visited an Italian restaurant of a so high level. It would be a tough competition even if Le Due Terre was not in Bautzen but in Italy. Many professionals, more then 12 people, ran around for the entire time. Service was fast and detailed. We were pampered and served with modesty and respect. Wines were excellent and served with great professionalism. We had an antipasto with a fresh burrata that was amazing. We had some Linguine with Cozze and Cannolicchi that probably are among the first 3 best Italian dishes I have ever had. The cook, Paride, is a number one.... The entire taste of the sea was inside that dish. They suggested some fresh grilled fish (orata and sword fish). Tender and extremely fresh, served with extra virgin olive oil, tasty...we had a tasty fresh salad with onions, tomatoes, rucola, cucumbers etc.... then we tasted the fresh handmade icecream...wonderful and perfect. Last but not least, Vincenzo, made for us a Tiramisu cake modified with his art, with the addition of a strawberry cream... a masterpiece. The best desert I have ever had... of course we closed with a perfect espresso (difficult to have around) an ammazza caffè (limoncello) and grappa. Price was ridiculous compared to what we had and the extreme quality of what we had, including the service. If someone from anywhere in the world, including Italy, wants to taste something great, le Due Terre is the place to visit. We will visit the other branches in Dresden as well and will go back to Bautzen. To all the personnel, thank you for the wonderful dinner and time. Paolo

We were eating with 4 people. The food came from only one person at first. After 15 minutes the meal came to 2 other people. The fourth person's meal didn't come. Furthermore, the service was almost non-existent. We would have liked to have another drink and order a dessert. Since the service was never seen again, it was a drink despite a 2 hour stay.

We were there for a spontaneous lunch and are thrilled! Very friendly staff and food like in Italy! Price / performance also top! We will definitely be back 👍

We ate very well there. The service is very friendly and quick. It is better to reserve seats every day, especially in the evenings, to be able to sit outside.

Good food, but unacceptable rude service for non-german speakers. They were hesitant serving us and made many mistakes during our dinner.

The food tasted like it was from the freezer and was quickly served to our table. The salad is cut very roughly. The tomato sauce comes close to a ready-made sauce. The waitress was nice. Overall, one can say that the price-performance ratio is not right.

Vegan friendly. Just tell the waiter!

Really nice pasta with Salmon ;) big variety of choices for drinking and eating ;) prices are ok, possibility of sitting on main old square is nice addition.

Most terrible restaurant we have ever visited due to unfriendly staff. We both did not speak German very well so we ordered in English. The server already frowned at this point. He had an arrogant look on his face all the time. Food was okay, but got put on the table and the server didn’t even look us in the face. After finishing the food, the server did not come to us to collect the plates or ask us if we would like anything else. Eventually we asked another server for the bill, and he asked our server to bring us the bill, we saw. However, he seemed to be ignoring us. We went inside the restaurant to ask for the bill, at which the server sighed and told us that paying by card should be done outside on the terrace. You should be ashamed that we had to go inside to ASK for the bill. After paying, the server waved the receipt in my face, didn’t look at me and said “bye” with a frown on his face. Well, we are glad as well that we won’t see each other again. We were on a short stop in Bautzen during our holidays, but this server managed to ruin our day.

Very good food, well served. Restaurant in a good location, average interior. Toilet on the floor. Slow service.

Definitely on the pricier side but staff is friendly and when you want to spend a nice evening it all works out. Food is great and staff is very friendly. I recommend it.

Do not go there! There was chaos in the service and we had to wait a long time for the food. Do not order special offers advertised by waiters.
